Karl F. Schoeller Sr. and Mary Schoeller constructed this building in 1946 as an appliance store and office for their electrical appliance and refrigeration business. They represented RCA Victor Televisions, Kelvinator Refrigerators and Bendix Washing Machines.
The house next door (621 West Market Street) was purchased in 1945 where they originally operated the business.
In 1953 when their son Karl Jr. went into the Army, they leased the building to their salesman Albert Huber (who bought the sales portion of their business). The building was then leased to Millie’s Dress Shop which, like Huber's was unsuccessful.
In 1957 Sellersville Savings and Loan occupied this property as their branch office. The Savings and Loan relocated to the lower level of 317 N. 7th street in 1968.
July 1st, 1963 Karl Jr. and his wife Ruth purchased the business from his parents. In 1968 the building was remodeled and Schoeller’s again occupied the store.
July 1st, 1993 brothers Jeff and Tim Schoeller purchased the business from their parents continuing to operate there until March 7th, 1997 when they relocated to 419 S. 5th Street in the former Fox’s Food Market.
E’Claire’s Bakery and later The Bread Box Bakery occupied the building at 619 Market St.
Since 2019, Nourish Kitchen and Catering, a meal -to-go food business has been located here.
