The first house in Perkasie was built in 1740 from hand-hewn logs placed one upon another. The Nace family lived in the house for two years. The log house was razed in 1847 and replaced by this stone house built by Henry K. and Elizabeth Nace. During construction, the Nace family lived in the old Stout homestead. Currently, the building is a residential rental property.
