This factory building was built using local capital and opened for making cigars in 1894. The Roig firm originally began making cigars in the Chestnut Street schoolhouse in 1892. Cigar making ceased in the building when Roig’s closed in 1926. The building has had various uses including Emico, which manufactured gauges. Pennridge FISH purchased the building in 2013.
