Labelcraft
304 South Fourth Street
Labelcraft was founded by Russell Kramer in 1921. The original location was in Young’s garage on Third Street between Market and Arch Streets. In 1922, the business moved to the second floor of the Solliday Building at 528 West Market Street. To accommodate the expanding business the current Labelcraft building at Fourth and Spruce Streets was constructed in 1924.
After the death of Russell Kramer, the shop was purchased by Albert Ziegenfuss in 1939. He operated the print shop until 1967 when it was purchased by Lee Roeseler.
Today, Labelcraft is a local commercial printer. Labelcraft assists their customers in creating brochures, stationary, and other printed materials for business and personal needs. The current owner is Charles Schmell who has owned Labelcraft since 1984.
