Current View of Perkasie Mennonite Church
The Perkasie Mennonite Church was founded in 1909 by a group of twenty – four Mennonites affiliated with Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.
A brick, Neo-Federalist style church building, designed by architect Oscar Martin, was constructed at the corner of Fourth and Chestnut Streets. Services were held in the newly constructed church building in August of 1909.
In 1948 the Perkasie Congregation was organized as a separate congregation of the Franconia Mennonite Conference.

An adjoining former clothing factory building was purchased in 1956. This building was renovated for use as classrooms, library and fellowship room and dedicated in 1969. Patchwork Coffeehouse is a popular community outreach of this congregation and is held in the fellowship room. |
