Kramer’s Auto Service Center
formerly
Ketterer’s Sunoco
301 West Walnut Street
The building at 301 West Walnut Street was constructed as a gasoline and auto service station. Dave Werner’s Sunoco Station had their grand opening in February 1955 billing themselves as “Perkasie’s most modern service station.” By 1958 the business changed hands and was known as Don’s Sunoco.
Richard and Arthur Fretz sold the station to Arthur Ketterer in the 1960's. Ketterer expanded the two-bay station into three bays in 1971 to provide inspection, automotive repairs along with Sunoco gasoline.
Later owners were Dennis Bergey (1983-2001) and James Lay (2001-2005) Since 2005 the building has been home to Kramers Auto Sales and Service owned by Paul Kramer. Sales of gasoline have long been discontinued.
