EJS & Associates
formerly
Branch Motors and Spielman Chevrolet
210 West Walnut Street
In 1920 Robert T. Hendricks purchased this property and constructed a building for Branch Motors, a trucking company. The name Branch was chosen because of the close proximity to the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek. By 1923 Branch Motors moved and the building became home to automobile dealers for many years.
Hudson-Essex, and later Oakland - Pontiac were sold here until George Spielman opened his Chevrolet dealership in 1938. After Spielman passed away in 1948, Baum Chevrolet, Sell-Perk Ford and later Benedict Ford sold and repaired cars here.
In 1964 the property was sold and became home to Bergey – Gehman Fuel Oil Company and later Agway Fuel Oil. An appliance sales and repair business owned by Ken Cressman opened during the late 1970’s.
After purchasing and renovating the building in 1986, Roeger, Walker and Bahls established their law offices here. The current business, EJS & Associates, have had their billing services here since 2011.
